The product will be packed in food-grade HDPE Jars. This product is shipped in powder form and can be mixed with water for preparing a solution (0.1%, 1%, 2%). Each shipment will be provided with a Batch Certificate of Analysis.

Q. What does Hematoxylin stain?

Hematoxylin is most commonly employed as a nuclear stain, which means that it is used to stain the nucleus of a cell. But it can also be used to stain the rough endoplasmic reticulum, ribosomes, collagen, myelin, elastic fibres, and acid mucins.

Q. What does Hematoxylin bind to?

Hematoxylin, when combined with aluminium salts, forms a complex that is cationic and functions as a basic dye. Because it possesses a positive charge, it is able to interact chemically with negatively charged, basophilic components of cells, such as the nucleic acids i.e., DNA and RNA and stains them violet.

The H&E stain is the gold standard for diagnosing a wide variety of histopathologic diseases and is the most commonly used stain in histology. It helps identify the many types of cells and tissues present in a tissue sample and provides essential information on the pattern, shape, and structure of the cells present in that sample.

Reagent should be kept protected from light at room temperature (18–26°C).
